Hi everyone!
I created this group as a way to communicate with DePaul MENP applicants.
I submitted my application a little before the June 15th deadline and am "patiently" waiting. :)
Hey everyone! I will be attending DePauls winter cohort as well!! Is there a Facebook page for our cohort? Also from the south side of Chicago but looking at moving to the Lincoln park area. I am looking for a roommate if anyone might be interested. Look for me on Facebook - Tia Rosenstein
HEY, not sure if anyone else has found it but there is a Facebook group for MENP Graduates & Students. https://www.facebook.com/groups/123837319969/
Gotcha. Well I just made one for the heck of it. I'm looking forward to hopefully meeting people tomorrow! Here's the link for the group if anyone wants to stay connected. https://www.facebook.com/groups/457708807742364/
Does anyone mind sharing their experiences with the application process (gps, grades, interview). I am currently applying for the next cohort. My perquisite grades could be better (anatomy (b), physiology ©, chem (b), orgo (b). How much do grades weigh in the application. I am also coming back from an education background so I dont carry much experience in healthcare. Any advice in general?
Hi Everyone!
I was wondering if I could get some advice from those of you who have been admitted to the program.
I graduated back in 2013 with my degree in Psychology and minor in Biology.
My GRE Scores:
145 in the Verbal Reasoning
150 in the Quantitative Reasoning
4 in the Analytical Writing
I graduated with a 2.935 cumulative GPA.
I have taken all of the prerequisites however, I received:
CHEM I : A
CHEM II: C, retook and received a D (due to my mother having Cancer. I was her primary care giver during that time)
ORGO I:B-
ORGO II:C+
ORGO III:B-
A&P I: C+
A&P II: B
Now, I am currently enrolling in the summer and fall classes to retake the chemistry course and A&P sequence. My question is would it be better to apply after I have completed the courses with the new grades for the Fall of 2017? or apply now and let them know that I am retaking the courses?
Are there any "under dogs" that gained entry into the program?
Thank you so much in advance for your advice.
Brenders
