DePaul MENP 2021

Hi all,

I'm about to submit an application to DePaul's MENP program for the Spring of 2021. Wanted a start a thread so we can all share our experience!

Hello! I am Currently in the same boat as you - I originally applied for Winter 2021 but I needed to update one of my prereqs so the final transcript was in after submission deadline. I have reached out to them and they stated my app is still under review, but for Spring 2021 instead- I believe they do rolling admissions Until each cohort is full. I would definitely recommend reaching out to them to see where your respective app stands. I have been extremely anxious as well since I still don’t have a solidified decision to move forward with, but I have faith that it will all work out- for the both of us! ? take it easy and let us know if anything changes!

I reached out to them last night, hopefully I get a response soon. I imagine that they are also reviewing my application for the Spring term then. I hope that's the case! I'll keep you updated on what their response is!

If it makes anyone feel better I am deferring my acceptance for Winter 2021 so a spot will technically open up. I would assume maybe some people are doin the same with other schools sending out acceptance last week

Hey everyone! 

I just heard back and there was a glitch with my application and that made it get stuck so it was never reviewed! They just reviewed it and I have been accepted for the Spring term and wait listed for the Winter term!! Thanks so much for suggesting that I reach out to them because I would of been waiting forever. Congrats to all those who got accepted and good luck to those waiting! I hope you get notified soon! I am looking forward to meeting everyone.

congrats!! I have a feeling you will be accepted to the Winter term. 
 

I know a couple in this thread plan to defer a term and at least one is giving up their spot because they got into the program at Rush!

Hi everyone!! I am withdrawing my acceptance to DePaul because I was accepted to my top choice, so a spot will be opening up for one of you! Does anyone know how to defer my spot? I’ve tried to email, but is there an official way to?

@laura.herm0 I just emailed the admissions advisor Joanna and withdrew mine!
