DePaul MENP 2021

Hello!!

I submitted my application for DePaul’s MENP program but for the Winter 2021 on June 13th. Was wondering if anyone heard back yet or when we will hear back?

I submitted my application for DePaul's MENP program but for the Winter Cohort 2021 at RFU on June 12th. I have not received an email if they are reviewing my application.

I am assuming it will take 3-4 weeks to receive a response.

I applied for the Lincoln Park campus. I haven’t received an email yet saying they’re reviewing it either but I hope they do soon!

Hey everyone.

I applied for the Lincoln Park Campus and submitted on May 13th, but from what I've been told, it's a first-come, first-serve basis. So usually, the earlier you submit your application, the earlier your decision. Hopefully, they provide a decision around the 3-4week mark.

I haven’t received a response just yet. I’m aiming for a decision by the 15th or early August at least.

Hi! I applied to the LP Winter cohort in March. I had applied for a past cohort but got deferred. I was wondering what people’s GPA’s/volunteering/backgrounds are if anyone’s willing to share. I had a 3.28 and 3.0 pre req GPA so I’m really nervous and depaul is my first choice. I am really hoping I get in.

Hi there! I’m really hoping you get in this cohort!!

In my undergrad I was a Biology major and I have an overall GPA of 3.5 and my pre requisite GPA is a 3.6. The only real background experience is I have worked with special needs adults and I was a college athlete so I did a lot of volunteering as well.

Hey Morgant!

I was also deferred b/c I turned in my application late, but I feel that we have a strong chance of getting because of priority probably. I’m at a 3.2 overall GPA with a 3.33 for Pre Reqs (Micro was tough). But yes, I’m also hoping I get in but I’m looking into applying to Rush and some California schools as well before their deadlines.

Hey @chuckthenurse! That’s what happened with mine! They also wanted me to take my final pre-reqs, so I actually pushed it back another cohort. I really hope we get in! I m applying to some other schools as well, but Depaul is my first choice. I’m ready to start!

Thank you!! Yeah your GPA’s are pretty solid. I worked as a CNA for a few months, but mostly have the administration experience.

Hey guys!

Submitted my application May 28th, but my GRE scores took a while to send and everything was done by June 13th. I haven't gotten anything back so far, and I was checking previous forums that said they received emails alerting them that their applications were being reviewed. I haven't received an email from them at all, so I'm getting a bit angsty.

I applied for the LP Winter 2021 cohort! Hope to hear something from DePaul soon.

Same here as far as experience. I’ve worked as an admin in different industries, but I’m also currently a research coordinator for medicine. All of my volunteer work has been with mostly children but in sports settings.
