DePaul MENP Fall 2020

Hi all,

I have recently submitted an application to DePaul's MENP program for the fall of 2020. I was wondering if anyone has heard anything yet, and would like to connect to other nurse hopefuls!

for those of you getting in what are is your GPA like ? and how many of the pre reqs do you have completed???

My undergrad degree was biomedical sciences 3.2. I had all my prerequisites completed. A lot of volunteer and leadership positions. Working as a behavior technician currently.

Thank you!!! I have one outstanding pre req . Got almost all a’s and one B in the pre reqs. Did a cardiac rehab internship. I’m currently still a Student at ISU majoring in exercise science with a 3.5 GPA . I’m just really nervous about getting in ?

My stats are very similar to morganf07. Similar to you, jennyspring, I am finishing my degree currently. I have held leadership positions throughout undergrad and also spent a few years working in a physical therapy clinic (one on one patient care). I also submitted my GRE scores which I think strengthens my app. Hope this helps. Best of luck to you!

Anyone else waiting on other schools too?? If so which ones?

I’m in my last semester of my undergrad right now too! My undergrad is in Cellular and Molecular Biology and my GPA is a 3.7 with mostly A’s in my prereqs. I work as a float CNA at a hospital and was a familial caregiver before that. I’m on the board of two student orgs and have participated in patient safety committees at the hospital.

I’m still waiting to hear back from Rush and UIC before I make my decision! I interviewed with Rush last week and am interviewing with UIC tomorrow.

Yes ! I still am waiting. I was told 3-4 weeks about three weeks ago. Hoping this week or next week.
