@RoRoMaMa I'm not sure if I'm right about this but starting from 2022 I heard that we need to have DNP in order for us to become a NP.

Hey guys I just want to ask: Why did you guys apply for the Direct entry master of nursing program instead of traditional / accelerated BSN? I know that we can both receive same RN license and if we work at the clinical settings we get the same salary as the BSN students. I heard that a lot of people have attitudes toward the Direct MSN program students / nurses. (I'm just curious!!)

@RoRoMaMa I think until May 1st (they are giving more times than the other schools - maybe its due to the corona viruses? (not sure) ) . Is that the same date for the waitlist?

@RoRoMaMa I'm currently living in Minneapolis, MN. and yes UNMC is the Nebraska Medical Center. What's your top choice?

@RoRoMaMa I got accepted to Depaul and UIC, but waitlist for the Elmhurst ( they accept people on a rolling basis). I think my final decision will be UIC vs. UNMC (still deciding on it).

Did anybody also received any type of scholarships? I'm not sure if they will notify about the scholarships after the enrollment or not.

Hello! I was wondering if there any DEMSN graduates from Depaul or Elmhurst? I am trying to find out which school might best fit for me. Or could you tell me some of the reasons why you choose Depaul instead of Elmhurst / Elmhurst instead of Depaul? Thank you!
