Is there anyone else on this website who has applied for the October 2020 Denver College of Nursing accelerated program? If so, comment below! Would love to start forming a community of applicants. I sent my application off last month, hoping Corona will not delay admission decisions!

I already have a bachelors so I don’t have to take the HESI. Interviews are scheduled June 1-30, and you have the option to do it via zoom or FaceTime

I got the email as well, I got accepted! They basically just talked about setting up a day for the interview around July and August. At the end of the interview, they said we’ll talk about a day to take the HESI.

Would there be anyone who was accepted/waitlisted willing to share their previous work experiences in the medical field/schooling? Still no email and I have a feeling that may be a sign with most people getting their emails already.

yeah I still haven't gotten one either. Thinking it's a sign I was denied.

Hey Dylan! To answer your question for the medical/school experience, I started working as a CNA at UCHealth in January. So during the time I sent in my application, I had only been working there for three months. I didn’t have any work experience in health care prior to that but in high school I did do a junior volunteer program at Children’s hospital that I mentioned. For school, my GPA was a 3.3 the time I sent in the application. But I had 4 in progress grades since I was taking them this semester. I hope this helped in anyway!
