Denver College of Nursing ADN Program- October 2018

Is there anyone else on this board who is trying to complete the ADN program at Denver College of Nursing? I recently submitted my application for the ADN program and I am just sitting and waiting. Time is going so slow! :-D

Did you go to orientation yesterday?

I only met 1 ADN student. We were all surrounded by a sea of BSN students. Lol.

What lab group did you get?

Ha! Same! I luckily ended up sitting by an ADN student. I'm in lab group 2. What about you?

I got lab group 1.

I was trying to figure out how many people are in our cohort. There weren't that many people from the ADN program, picking up books.

Oh, since we have lab, we have to wear scrubs on Monday, right??

The girl I talked to said someone told her there are 16 in our cohort. And, yes to the scrubs!

This is totally random, but do you work in the medical field currently?

I need some good shoes for lab/clinicals. I know a lot of people recommend those dansko shoes, but Ive never tried them.

I do. I've tried the Dansko shoes and I just didn't like them. But, a lot of people love them! I like Nike fly knit running shoes. They are the only shoes that haven't hurt my feet. I recently started wearing Lems. So far they are great! You can buy them online or in Boulder:)
