Denton Regional Medical Center? Any advice?

I'm a new RN with no experience, but I expected to graduate from my RN-BSN program pretty soon. I'm applying for the internship position for ICU in DRMC. I got my application in and was told that they will contact me if I was appropriate for the job. I'm serious about this, so I tried to call the Nurse Recruiter, not once but twice, left a message, but there's no answer. Have anybody had experience with this? What was I supposed to do next?

I did my clinical at DRMC before so I would think I have some advantages over others, but I didn't work in the ICU though.

keep trying to call she is very hard to get in touch with.

I completed their internship last summer and I loved it, and love working in their critical care units. Their internship is awesome. You rotate through all 3 critical care units, ICU, CVCU, PCU and at the end of the internship they will decide where you will be placed. Now let's say they place you in CVCU instead of ICU, you can transfer to ICU in 6 months to a year, maybe sooner, so don't let that discourage you. Like me I wanted to work in ICU when I started in the internship, but then I rotated through CVCU and loved it, so I ask if I could work there instead so you never know.

Anyway sorry for the rant, keep trying the recruiter she is difficult toget a hold of on the phone, email her, that is the best way

Thank you for the tip, I kept calling her but she never answered. When I emailed her, she sent me a reply right away. She told me that now they don't have any space left for interviews. And only if needed they will contact me. Is that a no then? I'm dreaded of the words "only if needed"

Is there anything I can do? I'm just desperate now...
