i decided to stick with nursing school...

A few weeks ago, I wanted to change my major from nursing to something different. But, after much thoughtful consideration, I decided to stick with nursing because that is where my heart really is. I do plan on retaking A & P 1 over next semester. That class was very overwhelming. But, now that I know more about what I need to do in order to learn the material better, I feel more confident "to learn". Do any of you guys feel like you will be repeating this class over in the spring? After the spring semester I'll have only 3 more prerequisites to complete before I can apply to the BSN program I'm interested in. This semester is almost finished and I can't believe it. I hope that everyone does well on their finals. Have a nice evening.:)

Glad you decided to stick around!

Sometime you just need to step back and take some deep breath!

Good for you Sonia! I know what you mean about sticking to where your heart is. Every time I think about going for a different degree that would be easier I just can't do it. I just don't see the point of going to school if I am not going back to be a nurse. Although I am not retaking A&P for the same reason I do have to retake it. This is the third school I have gone to (first school went through a divorce and moved and didn't go back, second didn't have a part time program so ha to switch to the third and better be final school) It seems like I have spun my wheels so much because each school has something a little different you have to take than the last. One school wants microbiology, one wants developmental pysch, another needs math but doesn't need micro. Very frustrating. I will be retaking A&P this spring because they wouldn't transfer it being so old. So in that respect I can relate to your frustration. Hang in there, stay determined and you will get there!
