can't decide which nursing field to choose

i am having a hard time choosing what i want to do:uhoh3:? i want to become a lpn, but i heard rn's get most of the jobs. are they seriously getting rid of lpn's? everyone i know has gone back to school to become a rn. i have an appointment on tuesday, so i guess i will talk to them and see. i just can't decide. i don't want to work in an elderly home the rest of my life. i first wanted to become a rn, but that is a lot of schooling and time and i just don't have it right now. maybe i will go for lpn and then when my daughter is in school i will go back to become an rn.
