Hi, I applied for fall 2010 chester co. nite/eve. program - composite was 94 - i haven't heard of anyone who has a higher composite - i am hoping to hear before christmas or i will go crazy wondering - what did you get?
I wish there was more considered than this one test - my DCCC gpa is great! I have taken everything except the nursing classes so far.
i also would like to test out of the math for nurses and save some time & money.
let me know!!
i've moved your thread to pa nursing programs discussion ...see many threads here about dccc.
good luck on getting in this tough competative program.

Thanks for the Reply, I got an 85 composite, which would get me in to Main Campus Day, but I am really nervous about Chester County night. Seems like a lot of people are in the 90s, so I guess my hopes are not so high . I took it 4 times and this was my best score. If it doesn't get me in I will try my luck with the TEAS and go for 2011.
I graduated from the Medical Assisting program in 1993 with a 3.5 avg and am doing really well in A&P. I REALLY wish they looked at that!
Either way I would like to know soon so I can figure out what I am going to do if I don't get in.
It didn't seem like there were many applicants for chesco/evening program when I submitted my application - i think it was october 28 - i think there were less than 50 at that time - no one gave me a timeline for when we would be notified - and i don't know anyone who has applied
i am an older student - and it has been many years since i had bio ( i am taking A&P now) so i would not be able to do well on the TEAS w/o a lot of prep work - plus i don't have the time to wait.
Do you know anyone who has applied?
are you working in the medical field now?
Good luck!!
I am in A&P now too, In Downingtown M W Nights. They told you how many applications they have? Well I guess that helps with chances if they have lesser applications. I am crossing my fingers. I am not working in the medical field, but I do work for a medical device company. I am older too and really don't want to wait another year to start. I hope they let us know soon!
Hi,
I am taking A&P online through Immaculata. I love online. I can do my work any time. It will be tough
to go to school 3 nights a week next year. I am going to go crazy until we hear; I don't have a backup
plan - plus I can't afford to wait another year.
How do you like the A&P - i was originally signed up for that class until i found the online one.
Do you know anyone else who has applied for fall 2010?
Actually I really like the class and so far am keeping an A Average. Two more tests and a practical will tell if I get an A or a B though LOL
How do you do it online? There is no lab? Do you like it?
I know one other person who has a 93 on the NET. Everyone in my class is applying for 2011.
Hi,
I just received a letter from DCCC confirming my application was received. How annoying! I was so
excited at first, then really laughed at the part that emphasized "this is not an acceptance to nursing program".
I am glad everything complete, though. I made sure i got a return email that they received my high
school transcript, since they had no record of it from years ago.
I hope we find out before christmas, even though they say by end of january.
Now I know how my daughter felt when she was applying to colleges!!:paw:
Hang in there! This is the fun part - wait until next fall when we are working, going to class 3 nights and
waking up at 5:30 am for practicals!!!! HELP!!!
Hi,
All I know is when I took the NET test I was told they had a record number of applicants (but i believe they meant the entire program, not just Chesco.
I believe there are only 32 seats for the night/weekend program, so the 32 top NET grades get in!
Did you apply for just chester co. Night/weekend? That is what I did.
At the info session last spring they talked about trying to inform us before christmas, but that
was before Eli left, so I am not sure if they have someone running things in his place in a timely manner.
I got a letter saying they received my application and i should hear by end of january. I know last year
people were contacted the week before christmas.
Good luck!!!

Has anyone on here applied for DCCC 2010 Fall entrance? I am trying to get an Idea of what your net scores were if you did. I am starting to freak out that my score isn't good enough now
