Daytonite, I aplogise!

Published

Daytonite,

I'm sorry I suddenly disappeared from the scene. I apologise for not acknowledging your last mail regarding my case presentation. Unfortunately, my kids were sick, I had to prepare for 2 tests and prepare for the presentation.

But for your persistent guidance, I would have made a whole mess of the assessment. Now, I know what you were driving at. I wrote everything right from checking for allergies, to GI, CV, resp etc, symptoms to lab reports. Then, after class I showed it to our instructor and she said I covered everything.

Thank you very much for all your help. I know I learned a lot and hope to be a little more prepared for the next time. Sadly, for the first time I am seeing students in the class who are not willing to have an open discussion and are extremely competitive. Well, I guess the world is made of many different people and we have to learn to live with them all.

I always read Daytonite's posts, no matter what forum. I will always be a student no matter how many years I've been in practice (4 so far). Her posts always contain good, solid information and are invaluable to me in my day to day practice of delivering high quality nursing care to my patients.

When Daytonite writes, I listen!
