Daytona State College RN Program Fall 2016??

Hey everyone! This is my first post and I hope to get some advice on applying to Daytona states nursing program in May for fall semester 2016. I currently have a 3.42 gpa and a 75% teas test score but I'm nervous that it won't be enough ugh what were some of your gpas and scores? I'm finishing my last pre reqs right now so I hope it doesn't drop much. Any advice on what easy online classes to take next semester to boost my gpa?

Hi! Do you mind sharing the booklist for the first semester? I want to go ahead and purchase them while they're low in cost. Also, do you know what the style number is for the Dickies scrubs?

Oh I said that because I graduate in December. Transition is only 3 semesters so I don't know any info yet, I just got accepted, sorry

Who's registering for Daytona Campus Daytime, and attending orientation?? Don't forget to turn your green forms in before July 15th in order to keep your spot guys!! I saw the list of what we need to do, and boy are we gonna be busy this summer?!:woot:

Green form AND that V___something-something white form (background check release form)!!

I already did drug test and fingerprinting.. Have to find a physician and do vaccinations..but only after Monday now :( Prices for everything are pretry high, especially if you don't have an insurance!

I heard you can go to urgent care for those vaccinations, it is expensive, but at least you'll get it out of the way /:

im going to do that just because I want to submit everything early in case the nursing advisors wants me to change something, then I'll have enough time.

cant wait to see those who plan on going to Daytona day!!

I'm going to urgent care here for my vaccines. Check with your peds office first before doing everything, they may still have your immunizations for the hep b and mmr! I was shocked mine still had it. How is everyone doing? I need to get my stuff done... but I have my prints appt scheduled. Have CPR done already. I'm excited for orientation! :D

Oh I chose Deland campus for 1st option... but I wrote "2nd option" next to Daytona nights lol I would rather drive at night than 6am all the way to Daytona if that's where they have to put me!
