Hello all,
I have my HESI test coming up on Friday and I'm really nervous about this test! I have been studying the HESI purple book and it's been helpful but there is sooo much info in each section and I'm worried that I have focusing on one topic in each section too much or not enough. I feel comfortable with the reading and vocabulary but the math and grammar really have me worried. Can anyone who has taken it recently give me some pointers? ?? Thanks for the advice in advance!

I personally haven't taken it, but one of my classmates did about 2 weeks ago & passed with a 93 or 95, I can't remember. My school only requires the math & reading portion. I would suggest you do practice tests online. Good luck! I take mine July 16.
I've been taking the practice tests but I have math, reading, grammar and vocab so I'm trying to make sure I am somewhat well rounded in each area. I'm really nervous about the math though. It's never been a strong area for me. Let's hope I get an easy test .
Good luck on your test, I will post info about my experience later this week!

I had test today and I must say it is MUCH easier than I was thinking (I made a 100 on the Math). DONT OVER STRESS YOURSELF. Quizlet has free flashcards and Apple has an app ($10) and you can take as many practice tests you want. Best advice I can give is TIME MANAGEMENT!

I take the HESI on Friday too and I'm really nervous! There will be math, vocab, reading, A&P, Biology on the Hesi I have to take. I have been using the flash cards on quizlet.com to help me with vocab. Good luck on your test!
Thank you for the advice!!! I'm hoping that I'm stressing over nothing.. guess we'll see on Friday!
Right, don't over stress yourself. Go to this website & take some of the practice tests if you haven't already. I have been taking one everyday. & Quizlet does have aloot of flashcards so you may want to go check them out.

That Apple app is awesome, thank you for the suggestion!!! One question, do the calculators have the ability to type in the fraction like the scientific calculators or do you have to do it the "old fashion" way?
No, it is a BASIC 4 function calculator.
Ok, thanks. I've decided to push my test back 2 weeks to insure that I pass. This math and grammar really have me worried.
