Davita vs. Fresenius

Hello all! I've been working as a PCT for Davita for 3 years, and am curious about working for Fresenius... Anyone on here ever work for, or are currently working for, this company? If so, how do you like it? Or better yet, has anyone here worked for both companies, and can give me a bit of a comparison? Any information would be very helpful... TIA! :)

Well where do I start!!!! I worked for FMC for 4 years in the Boston area (left in good terms).. I only liked 3 unit only because the managers were real managers. The rest of the units were a joke.. The managers are the worst people you could ever work for.. Management will lie right to you face it was just the worst company I have ever come arcoss in my life.. Regional managers will lie what else can I say it's just a bad company.. I work for Davita now and what I have seen are professional managers at most unit and staff are professional as well.. I am very happy with Davita.. One advice I can give you is stay aways from FMC. The company is built on lies and really can careless about the employees.. Also if one manager does not like you she will lie and spread romers about you. I have seen it happen.... Go to Davita

I am a nurse for Fresenius and was thinking of transferring to Davita because of the poor management with Fresenius and also a lot of clique' 'mean girl' issues that go on that managers and superiors turn a blind eye to. I am thinking of leaving dialysis altogether. it is very stressful and I would rather take a cut in pay and have piece of mind then deal with the drama of Fresenius or dialysis in general...

I agree. Management at Fresenius is the worst I have known. You are right to say they don't care, lie, and belittle their employees. i don't know what kind of training program they put their managers through, but it is not working. I am hoping to get a position through davita and hope it is better. If not, I am leaving dialysis altogether after 10 years of this, the last 4 have just about done me in. I would agree~STAY AWAY from FRESENIUS!!!!

wow...and i just applied to fresenius rather than davita b/c it was closer to home! now im going to apply to davita and hope i get that call before fresenius! thats IF i get a call.
