Ok thanks I was just reading both book descriptions and they both seem similar so I wasn't sure if I was gonna buy two of the same study guides.
Is the Fundamentals for Success book geared towards the Fundamentals course and the Test Tacking Techniques more of a generalized overview of all the nursing topics/ concepts?
Just want to confirm I've found the correct booK???

I did not know about these books in my Fundamentals class, but they are a HUGE help in Med Surg!! I realy like the way they are laid out and give you the rationale for every answer. I am not a student that is great at just reading chapters and being able to pass a test. I do much better if I practice questions. The more practice you get early on with the NCLEX style questions the better off you will be in future classes!
Good Luck!!

Hey everyone
I am in the process of purchasing the Davis's Success books series. I will be starting Pharmacology and Fundamentals of Nursing in Jan and just wanted to get ahead of the game by purchasing these books before class starts and to use during class to become successful in the courses.
The question I have is it worth buying: Test Success: Test-Taking Techniques for Beginning Nursing Students along with the Fundamentals Success: A Q&A Review Applying Critical Thinking to Test Taking (Davis's Q&a Success).
I just wanted to know if both books are pretty much the same thing or if there is a true difference to where I should buy both. Just trying to save some extra cash. SN: I am purchasing the pharmacology review but just wanted to know if I should purchase all three.
Thanks for any input.
