Hey everyone. I've been an lpn for 7 years now and just applied to finish up prereqs. I'm so nervous to be starting this journey and wanted to connect with others who plan to apply in 2026.
Finally registered to finish my prereqs in 2025 🥰

Hi, I've been an LPN for 11 years and I'm also planning to apply as well! What prerequisites do you have to take?

If you haven't had bio165/166 you need bio168/169. That's what I'm working on now, and the psych. You need intro and developmental psy241, eng111, a basic math and a humanities course. It all has to be done before you can even apply. The rubric is posted on their pwsc page if you go to their website. It's not a ton, most the points to apply come from your prereq grades and the TEAS test. I'm taking my TEAS Friday! I made a 78% when I took it in 2015 to become an lpn so I'm pretty nervous, aiming for an 80 but of course I'd love an 86 for max points! I'm excited to apply, I hope to see you in class 🤩

That's awesome! I have all of my prerequisites. I just need to take the TEAS. What material did you use to study?
Woohoo! 🥳 I can't get myself to pay for study materials so I downloaded the ATI app and been answering the 10 free questions a day when I think about it. I feel like it's not really something you can easily study for because of how broad the subjects are. So the plan is to take it Friday and if I don't do well I'll study my weak subjects and retry. I made a 78 overall and an 80 in science without studying last time. That was 9 years ago though so I'm worried my mind isn't as sharp LOL
I'm sure you'll do good! Will keep you in my prayers. Keep me posted! You got this!
I appreciate it 💜
Just finished, 81 overall and 70 in science 🥳
🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊 Congratulations!! 🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊
When do you plan to take yours? I think they're good for 2 years at this school.
