Does anyone know if a Officer whos a Nurse in the Air Force can still date an enlisted person whos also in the Air Force? Or an enlisted nurse dating another enlisted? What about marriage? I've heard you have to get married before you join or else you cant be together but others are telling me you can..does anyone know FOR SURE??
Im not in the Air Force yet. Im still in high school getting my CNA but my boyfriend is an AIC Avionics Mechanic in the Air Force, and hopefully I will be joining this next year,so any info is helpful! I appreciate it! I really would like to know before i go and they say we can't be together!
Um a CNA wont be an officer anyway. You'd be a medic or some air force equivalent.
So since you would be enlisted, its allowed go for it. If you want to be a nurse officer you have to get a BSN to go active duty. That will take you long enough for HIM to become an officer too if he wants to. So whatever way you wanna work it, you're probably fine.

Yeah, I guess I remember that now...hence the term "Petty Officer". Like I said, nobody really used the term "NCO".
In any case, it was also HUGELY frowned upon for anyone above the rank of E-6 to date anyone below an E-6. Not illegal, just not liked. Which is not to say it didn't happen ALL the time!
I'm having such flashbacks...I got out in 1998...sometimes I really miss it!
