Darton College Summer 2011

Hello everyone. I just applied for admissions for the summer 2011 program a couple weeks ago. Has anyone esle applied as well? If so what is your GPA and HESI score if you don't mind me asking. My gpa is a 3.0, or higher because I have grades that have not posted, and I have not taken the HESI yet. Also, I applied to the Darton College. If I don't get accepted for the summer, I'll just apply for the fall.

@prettymica: i have been around a lot of ppl. who have tried to become nurses, and has realized that noone hasn't been accepted on thier first try!!! Crazy!

@smart99guy: thanks for the advice! I was actually thinking about doing something like that, but Im now looking into other schools... i will just have to settle with most school starting jan. and that is fine with me, so I am looking into Gordon College and possibly taking the teas next month! i may just apply for spring 2012 to darton and try to concentrate on the teas for the summer, and then apply for spring at darton... but who knows.. my plan B may change!!LOL

Thank you all for the encouragement! You all will make AWESOME nurses and I can tell now just by how kind and generous yall are :)

I sure did.. But the paper specifically said they denied me because of my gpa... Some schools are still counting withdrawals from classes over 10 yrs ago.

aww prettymica. Keep your head up. If I were you, I would have them to reevaluate that because your gpa should have started over at darton... was the 2.4 your gpa for the prereqs?

I was thinkin the same thing as what smart99guy said!! 10 years ago.. who cares.. you are still working hard in your profession and that should be enough!! You are so positive and motivated!! God will bless us with a position in nursing school one day soon!!

Yeah... And the last school I left my gpa was 3.00... She could barely explain herself in the phone then she said something about. 2.00.. I was thinking ***!!!

Well pewinsto,,,, from what i've read on this website, most people who are on the waitless seems to be of the first picking for the next semester,,, or if someone doesn't show, they will give it to the person on the waitlist. I hope you get in this summer with us. May God Bless!
