I have applied to the Darton Nursing program in the spring. I spoke with someone in the Nursing department that said they received well over 300 applicants for the spring programs (Evening and Hybrid). She did not specify how many were "acceptable and submitted for testing or how many applied to each program. I have taken my HESI (10/09/10) and passed. There were about 50 computers for testing in the center. The computers were reserved to capacity. So figure the same for each testing session with 8 total testing sessions at a minimum. A few testing dates I have seen others confirm to sit for: Oct. 1,2,3,4,8,9,10 & 11

Do not give up. The testing proctor gave these words before the test began: "There are far more of you applying for the number of spots available. The programs acceptance is very competitive. If you do not get accepted on you first go around then apply again. Don't give up." You can do it. Now that you have taken the HESI, use it as a learning experience to be better prepared for the next application. You will do well and you will succeed. So you might not be starting in the spring. Check into the campus requirements for the evening program and apply for the next class that begins.
Good Luck,
Steph
