Do you happen to know what the possibilities are there for overtime or weekend only shifts? Just curious, I'm originally from NH and my husband and I are contemplating moving back after I get my RN. I currently live in FL and it is becoming sooo populated where we live that rural NH is looking better and better.
I have no idea. I am out of state currently myself, in the NYC metro area. You can contact their recruiters, who are very responsive.
I'm wondering if their wages can meet the high cost of living in Lebanon. Given that it's a college town of a major Ivy League school, rents are not a bargain.
I'm thinking that $22/hour wage in Lebanon, NH for a new nursing grad would be difficult to live on. I looked online at apartments in Lebanon, and given that it's a college town, one can easily spend $800-$1000 a month for a 1 bedroom.
Am I off in my thinking here? Or do most of you agree that it's tough to eek out a living in NH making $22/hour when one is paying back student loans, car loans, and other debts.

I'm finding it tough to consider making $22 anywhere and paying bills like that off. This is why nursing salaries HAVE to go up and adjust to the market. I am considering working as a traveler out of Boston and taking the housing stipend and renting on the Seacoast of NH. It is a bit more populated and beautiful. We'll see, too far in advance as of yet.

My mother actually worked at dartmouth in the trauma unti, and I know she worked weekend overnights. Dont know if that helps you any, but I know it is obviously available.

I think maybe this thread can help me out with this.
I wanted to be a nurse in/around Hanover, where Dartmouth is located.
Does anyone know of any jobs around there and what they would pay?
