I guess I will be the first one to post!

Hello everyone! I'm applying for the Fall 2020 Dallas Campus FNP program. I have almost a year of experience in the ICU, and I'm finishing up my BSN with a 3.7 GPA. I decided to start applying for graduate schools because I know that I will not be at the bedside forever, and would like to get all of my schooling out of the way while I'm still young. I talked to the admissions department and they said they are currently working on admissions and we should all know by June 1st!

I saw I was accepted in the Pioneer portal a few days ago. I graduated with my BSN Spring 2019, will have over a year of ICU/CCU/PCU experience by the start of the semester this Fall.

Congratulations!! When did you apply? I'm wondering how long it takes. My status just changed to "Awaiting Department Review" as of yesterday and I'm nervous.

Hi I also applied! I am graduating from a BSN program next month from UT Austin and am hoping to get in to the program and go straight through! My application has been “under department review” for 4 weeks now but I’m getting kind of antsy. How long did it take you to get accepted?

When did you apply? Mine has said “awaiting department review” for weeks now and I applied in March.

I sent in my application at the end of February, and it’s been “awaiting department review” since March 17

Hi all,

I applied to the AGPCNP Houston location for Fall 2020 and noticed that it said accepted. Did any of yall get an email about the acceptance? I am trying to get access to the TWU email now to see if they sent anything there.

And isn't it rather early to be accepted?

I think I applied sometime in February, recieved an email and letter in the mail about acceptance late March

You're currently in a BSN program right? Do you think that's why it's taking so long, because they're waiting for the final transcript?

I just found out today that I was Accepted into the Dallas program! I didn’t receive an email, but I saw the status change on web advisor.
