It's never to late to start. I'm in nursing school right now and my kids are grown. I woudnt work if you don't have to, there's a lot of work and studying to do everyday! I'm in CA so I don't know anything about the schools in your area. Good luck to you!!!! You can do it!!!!!

There is only 1 LPN/LVN online but you have to be in Oregon.
It is not too late to go back to school you are 21. Having children may make it a little harder to go to school, study, etc depending on your money situation, support system, and or times but, when there is a will there is a way. I started nursing school with a 7 and 6 month old and I made it. I did not work though.
It is possible to work full time, have kids, and go to school BUT, I wouldnt advise you to work because nursing school is fast paced and requires a lot of dedication and studying. If you can not work at all and or go pool/ part time then do that. Good Luck
Thanx u guys i really appreciate your replies what are some of the things lvn do i know it's differ depending on where u work I'm thinking about working with hospice

I go to DNI. I really like all the instructors. Just read, read, read and do Nclex and you will do fine. Always remember, you are there for you and your family. It's good to have study buddies but sometimes you need to be alert of others. Can give you wrong info. If you have problems the instructors will help you but you have to want it and they recognize that. Ask the instructors, it is competitive with grades. I am not a very good test taker either. I get very nervous and rush, don't look at the whole question. If I can do it so can you. Good luck?
Thanks i was also wondering why does everyone says it's very intense
Well it is only 13 months so a lot of information. Just study and stay away from the drama and you will do great. I just do what I am told to do and soak in what they teach me. You will come across those who think since they paid a lot for the course they shouldn't have to do any work. That's not the case. I wouldn't want that from any school especially when you re dealing with someone's life.
