Hi! I am applying for the online LVN 2016 class. I would love to hear from any of you that completed this program. Advising begins May 1.......what do I need to do to prepare? How was the class load and clinicals? ANY help would be appreciated!

Good afternoon all, I am thinking about a career change in the future, and I was hoping to hear from any nurses in the Dallas area. I know there are a lot of job postings, but what is the market really like? Are there more nurses than jobs available? Which schools do you suggest for the ADN program? What about LVN at El Centro? Any information you can offer will be greatly appreciated! Have a great day!

Thanks so much. I agree that the price is absolutely outrageous. I would prefer to go to El Centro, but I also work, and will need to work at least part time while in school, and El Centro does not offer a night class. I guess I need to start looking into what I could possibly do while in school for an income. I really appreciate your input!

I have read on several nursing forums that DNI is not a good school, only after your money, not reputable, not accredited, etc. I did my research (as much as I could, I hope) and they are on the list of approved vocational nursing education programs for the Texas BON. And their over all NCLEX 2010 first time passing rate is 80.11%. Not the best, but certainly doesn't seem that terrible. Can someone please explain to me exactly what is so aweful about this school? Thanks!

I am hoping to start an LVN program within the next year, and I will be 35 soon. I am so glad to know I am not alone in all this. Good luck!
