Has anyone heard anything back from residency programs? Anyone land an interview at any hospital? I applied to BSW, Parkland, and JPS

Oh yeah I cant do that switching back and forth LOL so I hope that is not something that happens across the board. I don't know for sure on either, but I have my interview with methodist ICU/neuro ccu tomorrow. I'll update on here tomorrow what I find out!
Guys think long and hard about Parkland I worked there for 3mo and left! I was on a Ortho Medsurg unit and as far as the people everyone was nice but hated they job and the patient load. I got 12weeks of training and literally they wanted me to take 6pt day one! Yes it was a Medsurg unit which is a normal load for that unit BUT for me I felt it was really asking of alot day one of me being on my own. We literally got ANYTHING you could think of. Heparin drip, Insulin drip etc it was alot. Like not kidding my preceptor last day was my last day of training.
I paid my 10k (medsurg is under a 18mo contract) and left! Also Parkland pay for new grads is 27$ plus 9$(once you finish residency) for now to try to hold on to bedside nurses, its a "trial" they are doing
I ended up getting Baylor Waxahachie and im soooo excited! No contract and the pay is well into the 30's they considered my experience as a tech into my pay which gave me 1.5yrs experience as a nurse
Medical City I would say RUN, they use Meditech, they just started paying they nurses they hourly rate cause they was only paying 1k/biweekly and they also do contracts. I personally have never worked for Medical City but HCA has a bad rep and my experience even just interviewing gave me all I needed to know

yiiiiikes.. thank you for your input. LOL I think I am going to pass on parkland and hca if I get offers from them.
I did have a interview set up with Methodist but I wasent thrilled because it wasent a unit the I desperately wanted but started to feel myself needing to secure a spot. They don't do contracts as well from what im told. But I didn't follow through with the interview cause I heard back from Baylor and that was my first choice and the unit I wanted

Hey, how did your interview go?

Did you find out about pay and differential and was it ICU combined with neuro ccu or did you get considered for MICU and CVICU as well during the interview? The recruiter finally got back to me with a virtual interview date next Wednesday but I might cancel it because I've received an offer from Emory that pays pretty well

Also, was it night shift or day shift?

I didn't ask about pay or shift differentials. I usually wait on those questions until I get an offer so I don't get too upset if it doesn't happen LOL. What's Emory?

Man, I applied for the burn ICU because I was really interested in that when we studied it. But I don't really have a specific reasoning behind it. I'd really love to work at BUMC too. Or Methodist Dallas. I just really want to be in a place where the nurses aren't completely neglected LOL. The only offer I've gotten so far is at a local hospital where I currently live. hard pass.
