Hello Everyone

I am wondering if anyone knows anything about this school. I looked them up on the texas board of nursing and they check out there. So I want to talk to some of the grads from them. I started nursing school before and think I want to return but this school is about 45 minutes away without traffic (2 hrs with traffic). I have wasted enough money and time. I am way past wanting to be a nurse. I need to be a nurse NOW.Any info would be great. Thanks Dusty

Hi there. I've taken about 2 trips to this school recently. I've taken the NET and passed. But I'm also unsure about the school. The tuition is over $23k. I'm really skeptical.. I too need to be a nurse now!!!

I am also in Dallas/Fort Worth. I've never heard of the Dallas Nursing Institute.

I'm not sure how far along you went with your previous nursing schooling, but have you thought about North Central Texas College? They are only minutes from you (with a campus in Corinth for pre-reqs and Gainseville for the nursing courses). They have a very good reputation and some of the highest pass rates for the NCLEX in the state.

I was actually at the pediatrician last week with my son and there was a FNP student who was doing clinicals at the ped's office. She was from TWU. I spoke to her as well as her clinical instructor at length about NCTC's program. The clinical instructor told me it is "a wonderful program." The whole ADN degree would be under $10,000. Check them out!

why drive 2 hours when you are there by the greatest school ever...twu
