Dallas Institute of Nursing Concerns??

Published

hello!

i'm considering din, but was wondering do hospitals hire students from colleges over private schools? will schools like el centro allow me to do a bridge program in the long run to rn if i have a lvn degree from din? i just dont want to invest time and money in something that will prevent me from a getting a job because i chose a private school vs. a place like uta or tcc. any info. would be appreciated.

p.s. is din located in a safe area of dallas??

thanks! :)

DNI is right off 635 in an okay neighborhood, they do have security. Getting a certificate from DNI will not keep you from being able to get your RN elsewhere; an LVN is an LVN. As long as you meet all other requirements of your transition program, your LVN from DNI will be adequate.

Why not go right for your RN and save the money of doing two different programs if you know being an RN is where you want to be?

Well, that would be great, but how long is the wait to get accepted into the RN program at DNI? I haven't gone to check DIN yet, and was wondering how long it takes to get a LVN vs. RN there?? I'd like to go to a private school because I know that going through TCC OR UTA would be a wait to get into the program. Are you(RN2B3DFW) currently enrolled at DIN?
