Dallas area nursing schools!!! Help!

Published

Hi, guys! I'm new on here. I live in the Dallas area and I plan on taking all of my pre-reqs for nursing school Spring semester 2018. All of the nursing programs around here are seriously cut-throat. Here's my dilemma-- El Centro, Brookhaven, Collin College, Navarro, Grayson, NCTC all have a different set of prereqs. From what I understand, all of the nursing programs in this area are EXTREMELY difficult to get into without at least a 3.7 GPA…due to the amount of students they accept per semester vs. the 100s and 100s of applicants. I am an underwriter right now and have been saving like crazy to be able to stop working in December and go to school full time thanks to my DH. How can I know which pre-reqs to take? I'd like to be able to take them in one semester, then apply to all of the schools in this area. My fear is that I will quit my underwriting job, take all of my pre-reqs then come next May not get in and be SOL. Any advice would be appreciated!! Sorry for the babbling! Haha
