Cypress Spring 2020

Hello,

Has anyone applied to Cypress for spring 2020? I've applied and submit all of my documentation yesterday. Good luck to all!

nvm i found the number! For the people that got picked as an alternate, did you guys confirm your status or did it do it automatically for you?

I went in and accepted my alternate status. Do you know what number you are on the list? I emailed them and asked but haven’t gotten a response. What is the number to call?

Did you get accepted as an alternate?

i got picked as an alternate. I went on my account this morning and it sys confirmed but i never manually accepted so i think it automatically accepted for me which is fine lol does yours say confirmed? I emailed them but no response. When i called they said we have to go in person to ask what number we are but she recommends to wait a bit because the number changes drastically as time passes. the phone number i called was 714-484-7283

Yes, my status says Alternate - confirmed. Thanks for the phone number! I hope we are high on the list! Did you have 30 points as well?

you're welcome! Yes, i had 30 points but i know its very competitive so i was already preparing myself not to get in lol. do you know how many alternates there are or if were placed on the list by gpa rank? i would assume thats the fairest way but not sure.

Yeah I was preparing as well. My prerequisite GPA that they go by is a 3.5 so I figured I wouldn't get in. I am sure we are placed by GPA rank and I think they choose 20 alternates. Trying to stay positive! I got into the Chaffey College RN program but Cypress is definitely my number one, so much closer!

Is the gpa the 3 science classes + the six GE classes? if that's the case mine is 3.8! I'm trying to stay positive as well. I'm trying not to get excited but i can't help it lol congrats! At least you have a back up plan if anything. ?

Hello everyone, I was accepted. However, I will be declining. I have already gotten into my first choice school. Hopefully this opens up a spot for those on the alternate list!

For those who are waitlisted, do you know how far you are on the waitlist? The receptionist who took my application this year was kind enough to let me know my place, but she said “less than 40” so I don’t know the exact number. She even went far to say I should expect an acceptance email next year and she sounded sure of it. I’m not sure how many students from the waitlist they accept each term? Anyways I hope we get in for Fall 2020.

Wow 2 years?!?! ???? what was your points and gpa? If you don’t mind me asking?
