Cypress Creek Psych..

Im interested in working at Cypress Creek Psych facility (RN position)..anybody have any info on it? What are the shifts like and the pay? Good place to work? I love psych!

I've never worked there, so I cannot give you any firsthand accounts of working at that particular facility. However, I used to work at a psych hospital and absolutely loved it. There was never a dull moment, and being away from most aspects of bedside care was refreshing at times.

Your patients are going to be either long-term mentally ill or going through various crises (drug withdrawal, etc.). Most psych hospitals only admit medically stable patients, and any patient who becomes medically unstable typically gets sent to the nearest acute care hospital.
