Hi everyone! Has anyone else here applied for Cypress Spring 2018?
I put in my application on the Sept. 1 and submitted my documents as well. I should have 30 points so I'm hoping I have a good chance at getting in. The lady at the window said that they will let us know "after we've gone through all the applications"
Does anyone know what TEAS test were are supposed to study for? I think I remember the counselor saying it was TEAS version 6, but I'm not certain. I feel like I should already start studying for it since I really need to brush up on math.
Hello I also applied for the Cypress Spring 2018 RN program. When I went in person I was told that they may send the acceptance emails the week before Thanksgiving, but if not then it would be the 1st week of December. I am going crazy not knowing as well. I'm more worried than anything about the entrance exam/ Teas and when the latest we will be allowed to take the exam if we are selected. I hope they give us a good amount of time to take it. I'm really worried that they will make us do it during finals since I'm taking Chem and stats this semester. Not the smartest thing on my part to do as I haven't had much time to study for the entrance exam, all my time has been going towards keeping my A's haha
Someone said that they received their acceptance to cypress on one of the other nursing school forums. I called cypress and they told me we will be notified by December. I don't know if rejection letters will be sent out in December and the acceptance letters were sent out already. Now i am extremely anxious. I really hope that person that said they were already accepted was lying.
I was considering working but I was told nursing school is extremely demanding. Luckily my family is helping me and I am planning to take out loans. I rather put all of my effort and energy into nursing school and pass. Maybe my second year in nursing school I will consider getting a part time job.
