The deadlines they have are:

1. Accept or decline offer by May 5

2. Send official TEAS scores to "Cypress College" by May 5th at 5pm. If you've already sent your scores, you can contact the Health Science Applications Office ([email protected]) to confirm that they have it on file 

3. Attend mandatory orientation on May 29th from 12pm-2pm

4. If you get in, register for RN courses on assigned date (mid-July) but not before orientation and do background checks, vaccinations, etc by July 24. Drug test by August 1.

Hi there, 

I, too, was accepted as an alternative to Cypress (Cerritos too). I had 30 points as well. I did receive an email from them last week about two schools they said were not listed on my application but submitted a non-enrollment verification from each school to fulfill their request otherwise I would be ineligible. 

Just glad to be an alternate! Good luck to us!

Mandatory orientation is by zoom, if im not mistaking. Congrats to everyone that got in!!

Have any alternates received their acceptance notification?

Not yet, Monday the last day for everyone to respond I think, so maybe after Monday they will review how many spots are open to choose an alternate to be accepted 🤔

Just an update - I received an email just now and was fully accepted for Fall 2025! 

I only applied to 5 programs - 2 denials, 2 alternatives, and 1 pending. So, it's nice to know at least I can begin this Fall!

When we Confirm our acceptance letter, do we get a confirmation email, or is it just the PDF that we get to save at the end?
