hello to all of you

here is my problem. i applied for the credential verification service for new york state (cvs) last may 19 2011, so i paid the fee and i have sent the signed notarized application and i asked my school to send my transcript to cgfns. after 5 days the cgfns emailed may 24 2011 stating that they have received my transcript from my school but its already been 4 days when i check my order it says waiting to be received

here is my status:

payment in full paid in full [?]

application received [?]

signed notarized application received [?]

license validation form requirement waived [?]

license authorization form requirement waived [?]

transcript validation form from nueva ecija colleges 06/2004 - 03/2008waiting to be received [?]

transcript authorization form from nueva ecija colleges 06/2004 - 03/2008waiting to be received [?]

issued reportwaiting for approval [?]

should i be concerned?????

Moved to the International forum

Usually for CVS CGFNS will not accept transcripts unless it is on the forms they send, so you asking your school to send them may be an issue.

If only 4 days have passed since your transcripts was received then no I wouldn't worry

What should i do then? How can i ask the CGFNS to send forms to my school requesting my TOR?????

CGFNS usually send the forms themselves and the average processing time for CVS is 6 months. Usually nothing you can do to hurry CGFNS up, they like to do things at their pace

thanks for replying just a little concerned about the request from cgfns to my school...

i only paid the fee which is $390 should i pay the forwarding professional education information too???? im rather confuse on how will the cgfns request my school for my tor...

CVS is done by CGFNS and the one fee as far as I am aware pays for everything. Have you read the handbook for CVS?

TRANSCRIPT VALIDATION FORM FROM NUEVA ECIJA COLLEGES 06/2004 - 03/2008WAITING TO BE RECEIVED [?] - it takes about 2-3 weeks for the request letter from cgfns to get to the philippines via snail mail.

TRANSCRIPT AUTHORIZATION FORM FROM NUEVA ECIJA COLLEGES 06/2004 - 03/2008WAITING TO BE RECEIVED [?]- this means that you still haven't sent the transcript authorization form to cgfns yet OR they still haven't received it yet.

You have to send CGFNS the transcript validation form, not your school.
