Hi!
Has anyone attended or heard of Cuyahoga Valley Career Center (located in Brecksville)? They have a 9 month LPN program I am interested in. Thanks for any input!

Well seeing as it's been over a year since you posted this... lol I'm a new grad from Cuyahoga Valley Career Center, I took the 9 month progrm full time. They also have an 18 month part time program. Any more questions feel free to ask!

Hi, I have a question about CVCC! How was the program? How were the instructors? Did it prepare you well for your career? Any info. you have, I'd really appreciate as well!
I went through the full time (9 month) program. It was a very good program in my opinion, and the instructors were wonderful. I don't care what nursing program you go into, LPN, RN... whatever, I don't think you are truly ever 100% prepared to handle being on your own. It takes time before you feel comfortable, and believe me you are not comfortable right out of school! I feel that CVCC gave me a good backbone to start out on, but you have to continue to learn and grow in the field. Good luck to you!
Getting into CVCC is just like any other nursing program. It's competitive. You have to take an entrance exam, the "work keys" test.. which I thought was basically to test your common sense.. Then you have to follow their protocol.
