Starting a support thread here!! :) There should be about 200 of us applying for 30-odd slots...

Who out there is trying to keep busy with other things while waiting to hear if they've been accepted?? :rolleyes:

I found out a few weeks ago that I was accepted. I was waitlisted but it seemed to have paid off to stay on that list.

Looking forward to meeting my fellow students in a couple weeks.

BTW I was told that classes actually started on the 27th (misinformed) but seems like adult care is starting on the 22nd. Got the email from the professor.

Congrats to you! Yes, classes start on the 22nd--the syllabus for Nursing Care of Adults I is posted on Blackboard already, and it contains info for that day. We're supposed to read several chapters before class--homework already! I suppose we'd better get used to it... Send me a PM w/your contact info? A few of us who met at orientation have been emailing with each other and are getting together for coffee next week, if you're interested/able.

Isn't it crazy! Did you see the writing assignment for that class as well?

I would love to meet up with some of you and get to meet you before class starts.

I think I would feel less nervous!

I was so confused about the day classes started. So I guess we don't have class on the 20th then. That would be great considering everyone will be too focused on trying to watch the Inauguration.
