Thanks so much, Karen, for the GREAT resources!!!! :)

Vicky RN, did you ever find any good resources? I am finding that I need to start working on a CV, since I am in an MSN program and have an eventual goal of nursing education.

I couldnt go anywhere with the weblink in the earlier post on this thread. I have not done an exhaustive google search yet, but did look at the Donna Cardillo material that was referenced.

I have recently had the luck to become aligned with a publisher and to be able to review some proposed material - one was five finished chapters of a nursing text and am now reviewing a book proposal. Are these types of things suitable for inclusion on a CV? What about any educational/instructional material that I have developed or helped to develop for jobs along the way?

Lastly, I love to write and have always wanted to publish an article. Should I try to move this from the back burner and try to publish something in the near future in Advance or a similar publication? Or will that come in due time?

So much to do, so little time....

Yes, those resources that Karen referenced were a godsend not only to me but to the rest of my online class.

What wonderful opportunities! Yes, by all means list this on your cv.

Yes, definitely go for the publication. Publishing scholarly material and participating in research are two items which really make a nurse educator's cv stand out.

I have attached a cv template which was provided to us by our professor. Hope this helps :)

Hello, I also have some questions on CV, I was recently in contact with a recruiter for another country and they told me to fill one out and they provided me a template. But it appears that the templet is for an experienced nurse, and I am a new grad. I put that om my application to the recruiter so I am not sure what she expects me to put in the areas for hospitals worked at, and continuing education credits taken and so on and for fouth. So do I just fill it out and leave blank spaces? Are there CV templets for new grads? I have a wonderful resume, is there any chance that it will work in its place?
