Are you planning on staying in Canada? Check provincial college website on requirements but if trained in Canada you may not need to take English exams. Depending on where you do your training you may be eligible to work, ie if course is 2 years you may get a 2 year post grad work permit. Check CIC website out

Hi ,
Thank you so much for your kind and informative response. Yes , that would be my future plan after I graduated PN here in Canada , I will take their board exam but as what I have said I am worried that I might be asked by CLPNA to present ( CELBAN or IELTS ) before they allow me to take an PN exam. That's why I want to clarify my understanding about what you have said . Correct me if I am wrong . Do yo mean to say , I will no longer take any of those English exams that I mentioned since I am studying here in Canada ? Thanks
This is something you need to check with CLPNA but English may be waivered when training in Canada. For work permit and PR that may change and English exams may be required

Check with your school and CLPNA, most likely it is assumed that international students who graduate from a Canadian nursing program demonstrate language proficiency through their nursing program, as the primary language used for theory and clinical instruction is in English (or French if in Quebec). I don't see how a regulatory body could justify requiring a Canadian educated nurse take a language proficiency exam.
