Current Piedmont RN Residency

I applied to the RN Residency program at Piedmont in Atlanta the day the job was posted and haven't heard anything yet. Has anyone heard anything or know if they are still interviewing? I would really love to at least get an interview. I'm hoping this week I'll hear something. I've updated my profile with my RN license and everything so hopefully that will please them.

I just had an interview last Thursday for a Staff RN position. I also applied for the Critical Care residency. They told me that they are still interviewing candidates although I do not see the position posted for the residency. I haven't gotten a call back yet. Good luck.

Oh well that's good. They actually interviewed you as a new grad for a regular staff position? Everytime I tried applying for a regular staff position they rejected me lol. Good luck to you as well!

They interviewed for the critical care residency this week, according to HR.

They aren't going to do anymore interviews for critical care?! That's unfortunate. I was really hoping for critical care. Thanks!

I dont know if they are finished, week isnt over yet! I imagine they got a million apps. Can you tell me anything about Piedmont? I am not from the area. Do they pay well? Do they retain staff? I only heard of them because I was googling residecy programs. Do they only hire new grads once a year?

I myself don't know much about Piedmont. All I've heard from the people I know there is that they enjoy it and the doctors are great. I'm not sure about pay but I would think it's on the higher side. As far as I know they hire new grads more than once a year because they were hiring them back in October. I think they have a decent retainment rate. Did you interview for the residency?

Sorry I missed your post. I did interview for the position. They were supposed to let us know one way or another if we got it in " 3 weeks or so" . Still have not heard anything. It was a tough interview.

That's what I heard. I have a classmate of mine that got hired into the CV residency this week. Still never heard from them for an interview but when I called the lady said they were still interviewing people who applied. But it sounds like they might be finished.
