Current Pay in Colorado area?

Hi,

I am looking into relocating to Colorado with my family and I wonder what is the current pay for a BSN nurse with 2 years experience? Best hospitals to apply according to benefits and culture? Any information would be helpful.

Thank you so much.

Pay is relatively low in Colorado. I think you could expect mid 20s per hour. Childrens is one of the best employers. I haven't worked there but everyone who does loves it. Otherwise, it's mostly large, faceless health systems.

Thanks! I was able to talk to a recruiter at a hospital and she game me the exact number based on my education and years of experience.

Just wondering if you could give me a figure maybe on what she quoted you? Am considering Colorado too.

Your best bet to get an accurate number based on your background and experience is to call the HR department and ask to be connected with a recruiter. For me BSN education, certification in my area, and 2 years of experience my number was $32/hour (Colorado Springs) and $32.50/hour (Denver).

OK . That is really not as bad as I thought. I have 5 years experience so I am guessing I'd be around 35/hr., I am more interested in COS than I am in DEN. Thanks so much for the info! That is good to realize.
