Hello there! I am a medical student in Italy and I would like to ask you
Few days ago, my teacher told me and the whole class, that when someone experiences a heart attack Troponin levels in blood get high.
He mentioned that normal values are 11-12 and numbers above 14 or 15 indicate a heart attack.
Is this true though? I looked up on the internet to make some research about Troponine normal levels and I found no where those numbers!
What do you say?

Lab values often have differing reference standards in different countries. Your question is best directed to your instructor.
