CUNY York College Generic Nursing 2016

I just wanted to start a thread for CUNY York College Generic Nursing 2016 applicants. I applied and I'm hoping to hear from others who applied as well. I would also appreciate any current York College nursing students' comments about the program and/or their NLN scores/GPA upon admission. I know we won't hear a decision until June, but I thought I'd start this thread for any questions/support. Good luck to everyone who applied!

I called them today, and she told me that they sent all the letters acceptance and rejection letters, and to just wait. I don't know how long to wait because the orientation is after tomorrow.

@futurenurse199 true but the email for the application says it’s in July. Is it really on the 27th?

Orientation is a Thursday at 10am.

we can probably assume we didn’t get accepted but I would call them personally and ask them. all they told me was to wait

@nursestudent808 even if we didn’t get accepted why would our letters come late if they sent out all the letters a week ago? That’s sounds weird to me but I guess we’ll know soon

according to the email sent in april that said the orientation is sometime in july. maybe there are 2 groups and the second group hasn’t received letters yet
