CUNY York College Generic Nursing 2016

I just wanted to start a thread for CUNY York College Generic Nursing 2016 applicants. I applied and I'm hoping to hear from others who applied as well. I would also appreciate any current York College nursing students' comments about the program and/or their NLN scores/GPA upon admission. I know we won't hear a decision until June, but I thought I'd start this thread for any questions/support. Good luck to everyone who applied!

The nursing dept’s number 718-262-2054. The receptionists name is Gwendolyn or sometimes Janet answers the phone too.

@futurenurse199 I called too she said the last of the letters were sent out on Monday. And to those that were accepted when is your orientation. The department knows that some people didn’t receive the letters yet so I think there will be another orientation

That’s bs they are allowed to disclose that info because even I had asked them if I could call back to see if I had gotten accepted or not and she said yes. I guess they aren’t doing it anymore Bc too many people are calling.

Yes the secretary told me that they are doing another orientation because some people can't make it tomorrow

Has anyone heard any news? Besides what was mentioned here? Even if they sent out the letters last week they should have been here by now

There isn’t a second orientation. All those that were accepted but didn’t receive a letter, received a phone call from the nursing department.

Hello Everyone,

I got accepted into the program. Currently I am outside of USA and could not attend the orientation. Can anyone please help me to place the order for the castle Branch. When I try to place an order, they ask for a code but I do not have any code. Is there anyone who attended the orientation and have the code? Thank you.
