Thanks Richard! Did the interview go well for you? If you ended up accepting how has the program been for you so far?

This program is insane. I don't know why I chose this haha

What about the program is insane?

Is it the workload? Or the hours?

Can you give some insight  on how the program is structured? Or advice for the upcoming  cohort?

Ahhh detail, please! I was invited to interview at a different ABSN program and their final admission decision will come out before this one. Any info about the good, the bad, and the ugly would be amazing!

It is just non stop studying for us all. Different teaching styles and different classes along with onsite clinicals. All of it is just a ton hitting you in the face all at once and so far, not letting up. We have had two offsite clinicals with an overnight and a day shift (for me personally). In less than three weeks from today, we will have finished three classes with the pharm final a few weeks after that. It is fast paced, but doable.

Does anyone know that timeline for the in person orientation date? I'm going on a trip this Summer and want to make sure my trip is not scheduled near this date in case I get accepted! Thank you!

Hi! I also applied for the 2024 Fall UCAN program. I know interviews are on March 7th I believe. Can any past applicants share information on when they found out if they were chosen for the interview process? Thanks!

Hi everyone! Looking forward to meeting everyone on interview day! I'm so excited and nervous. Best of luck to y'all!

I noticed the schedule looks very packed for the first semester.  Are all classes the full semester? Or are they split into a few weeks each?  If so, how many weeks would you say your first round of classes were?

None of the classes for this first semester are semester long. Range from a few weeks to a few months depending. Schedule is plall over the place sometimes.
Different classes everyday 8-5ish. Tests every week it seems. On site clinicals sprinkled in there with skills testing always on a horizon.

I emailed the department to inquire and was informed this: "The first day of classes for Fall 2024 for the Accelerated program is August 12, 2024.  There are three events scheduled for students who are admitted to the program:

Admitted Students Day (in-person, students are strongly encouraged to attend, but are not required to)

Orientation part 1 (online, attendance required)

Orientation part 2 (in-person, attendance required)

We do not have dates for these events scheduled as of yet. However, in general, Admitted Students Day is held in early May, Orientation part 1 is held mid-June, and Orientation part 2 is held early August.

I was hoping for more concrete dates as well but this helped some!

Good Luck on interviews tomorrow everyone!
