Hello, is anyone applying between Nov 1st and Feb 1st for the RN program at Three Rivers in Norwich? Anyone want to share your stats? Cant wait!
Nursing GPA: 3.88
A&P grade : A
Teas: 71.3%.
Be great if the Community Colleges here went off a point system.Have a bachelor's degree 2 points, associate 1 point. Are an LPN 2 points. Have healthcare experience over 2 yrs 2 points. Volunteer 1 point. Have a 4.0 GPA 4 points 3.0 3 points and so forth.
Then max points be 30 those students get in.
Also be great if there was a true evening/weekend community college program and part time.
Be great if the program had rolling admission dates for Fall and Spring.
The way it is set up is not great.
I completely agree! I have been an LPN for 7 years and it would really help if they did take into account any previous degrees and healthcare experience. STCC does and I applied there last year and got in but stupidly did not go because I wanted to do a bridging program because it is shorter and less money.
waitlist #34 for capital community college. I know it's not a great # but I saw on commnet there are still well over 100 spots left to register.
I work with someone who was #43 on the waiting list for Capital two years ago and she got in! She said a lot of people use it as a back up school when applying to BSN programs.

And I'm thinking they would call sooner to the deadline. Or soon after like first 2 weeks in May
