CSUSM ABSN Fall 2019

Published

Hi everyone! I've been following a lot of the previous threads for CSUSM's ABSN program. I'm finally ready to apply for the Fall 2019 semester, so I figured I should start this thread and talk to the rest of you who are in the same boat! :) I currently just have to take the TEAS, which I'm signed up to take next week! Has anyone already submitted their apps yet?

Hi Heather, I'm not able to find the group on Facebook. Maybe it is on private setting?

It’s set to closed but you should still be able to find it. Try this link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/373429753290163/?ref=share

I've been accepted too. Very excited to meet you all and start this journey. I've asked for admittance to the Facebook group.

I'll be commuting from San Marcos. Any one else?

I got a financial aid package from them, but not an acceptance or a denial... Does anyone know what that might mean?

You could try reaching out to Fina Nalls at CSUSM. She has been very helpful to me throughout the application process. Her email is [email protected]

Hello there! I am not very familiar with the CSUSM portal. Where do we check to see our admission status ?

Nevermind! I figured out how to access the information. My application is still in consideration so I am waiting to hear what will happen next. Congratulations to those who were accepted !!

Does anybody know how many days a week do we have to go to campus for the first (Fall) semester? Which days?

I think it depends on how many classes you’re taking. So some people have already fulfilled the nutrition course requirement, and those people would only have 2 classes, while some other people may have 3 classes.

I asked at the info session about the schedule, but they were not very clear. But the first semester schedule is a lot free-er, because clinicals don’t begin until the second semester.

Hello and congrats to everyone that has made it this far!!

I’m a 26yr old male looking for a house or an apartment near campus to share with 1-4 roommates. Let me know if you have an opening!

Hey there, any updates on finding a place? I'm looking for something similar as well.

Hi everyone! I am also looking for a housemate or housemates to share an apartment with near campus. Please let me know if anyone is interested or if you have an available bedroom for me. Thank you, & Congratulations to you all!

Is anyone's application still in consideration ?

Howdy, I'm interested in being a housemate; I don't believe I can private message on here, so perhaps we can exchange emails or something. Thanks!
