i'll be there! i'm not sure how i'm going to handle working wednesday night and then being in class all day thursday... but i have no other choice. i guess i'll see!

How fabulous to finally meet one of my future classmates! Have you finished the BloodBorne Pathogen, HIPPA requirements? Are you going to take the Epidemology offered in 3rd summer session?

Wow Congrats you guys!!! I am planning to go back for my BSN. Just recently got my RN license but I graduated from ADN program in 2009. Do I qualify. I called the CSUN nursing dept and left a msg yesterday but no one got back at me.

I would appreciate any 411. Thanks :)

Congrats on getting your ADN/RN!! Did you find an RN job? I had such a tough time that I decided that I NEEEEED to get my BSN to get where I want to go.

I also graduated with my ADN in 2009 and was able to apply and get accepted to CSUN.

First you need to apply to CSUN, then it's a second application to the Nursing RN to BSN program. I think the deadline for rec'g your application is October 30.

Thanks for the info :). Glad to know we're in the same grad year. I went to CSUN website already but I feel that I needed to talk to someone in person to have my questions answered.

No I haven't gotten any RN jobs yet besides flu shot seasonal job which starts in the Fall. My situation is a little complicated because I took a 2 year hiatus after graduation. I needed to get my immigration papers in line (which are all sorted out now) in order to take the NCLEX and work...then had a baby and got married. Unfortunately I had to put my career in the back burner, so fast forward to today, job hunting is still crazyyyyyyy brutal esp for an "old" new grad and it ain't getting better anytime soon so I feel that I should get more education.

Which school did you go to btw? if you don't mind me asking :)

I applied to the Fall 2012 ADN-to-BSN program at CSUN. I am waiting for a response from the department and wanted to ask ya'll when you received your acceptance letters. I am anxiously waiting and would like to know around how much longer I have to wait lol.

My acceptance letter for Fall of 2011 was mailed on May 26, but I had rec'd a phone call 7-10 days before that.
