CSULB Fall 2012 BSN

U.S.A. California

Hi!

I think the CSULB School of nursing recently post new pool statistics including those who were chosen for Fall 2011.

Knowing that the rating average is 8.91/10, that seems like a huge difference than the previous semesters!

Anyone else planning to apply to CSULB Fall 2012 BSN program?

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in joining a Facebook page for BSN Fall 2012 Cohort! I don't really know how to make one, but I think it'd be fun to meet others who are going to start in the Fall!

That would be cool! To create a group you just look at your group section on the left side of your facebook page and click on "create group". The only reason I have not done this myself is because I am not sure how we would expand this group since we don't know each other's identities. Perhaps we should wait until after orientation?

Oh, I got the idea from the CSULA thread and people were exchanging emails :p

I was wondering if anyone knew any other colleges with a nutrition class that satisfies the NUTR339 for the nursing program for Summer 2012. Is saddleback the only one?

Saddleback and LBCC are the only ones I know of. If others know of other CCs with equivalent sources for NUTR 339, let use know.

She said there's 40 Trimester spaces 32 Basic spaces and Veterans have spaces as well and they run on a 2yr system as well. I cant recall the EXACT number of spaces she said there were for veterans I do believe that it was a low number. Whatever it was it certainly didn't equal up to 90 people accepted for the program as the website says they normally accept. They definitely accepted less this term.

It must be 10 veterans because they accepted 82 students and there are 30 alternates.

congrats beachsidenic! best of wishes! thanks for helping us out!

Anybody get the email about your "transfer credit" BUT not be able to actually view it in your school account?!?

I got the e-mail and it took me forever to figure out how to see it. So under your Student Center, you're going to click on a little drop down list which says "other academic." A big list will pop up and you need to click on Academic Requirements. This will bring you to a page where you can view your current transfer credit status.

Mine says I still need some GE Requirements (as shown by the dreaded red squares) which I don't understanding because in order for us to be accepted we needed all GE requirements to be met. My guess is that they are still working on the transfer units since it says Unofficial. Hope that helps!

Lavender I sent you a PM about SBCC.

Ok I'll try this. Maybe I was doing the wrong thing. I thought I got to a part that said transfer credit but when I clicked on it, it kept taking me to another website "Oracle" and asking me to log in again. And it wouldn't accept the info I input

Mine had a lot of red squares too! I think only 60 units or so will transfer over from my CC even though I've done 80. So do we have to take all of those other classes while in the nursing program? =/
