CSULB BSN Fall 2017

Hi guys!!

Anyone applying to the BSN program at CSULB for Fall 2017? The threads for this program over the past few years have been very active, but nothing for '17 yet! Would love to hear from other applicants and share experiences!

No, the other way around. The University first denied me admission, but later reversed its decision.

Any alternates hear anything from the school of nursing yet? I am waiting in agony and I'm wondering if any other alternate got a notice of acceptance...

I just found out I got into my top choice school so I think I am going to be rescinding my acceptance at Long Beach in the next couple of days. That will be a spot for an alternate!

Too bad for the people who chose SDSU. Cal State Long Beach is actually the #1 program in the state! (Yep believe it, for our size and NCLEX pass rate, check the state website if you really need extra proof)

I'm a (soon to be) 3rd semester student at CSULB SON. When you register for your classes post your instructor here and if I had them I can (respectfully) give you my opinions of what to expect and what can help make you most successful. Congrats & be prepared for A LOT of work. (I know you've heard that haha but you just don't really know how nuts it is until you're in the thick of everything) xx

Hi! I'm an incoming semester student this fall. I have Prof. Konrad for NRSG 200, Prof. Fitzgerald for Pharmacology, Prof. Ichikawa for Patophysiology, and Prof. Panopio as my clinical instructor. Any tips will be greatly appreciated! I'm so excited to start my first semester! Go BEACH!

Hi guys! Ive been waitlisted and I was wondering if you guys could tell me during your application period for Fall 2017 how far up the alternate waitlist did the SON go up to?

I believe up to #12 I could be wrong on the exact # but it was around there.

Thank you so much for responding!! im very nervous because im waitlisted for this spring. I just hope the waitlist for spring moves up as much as fall
