Hi there everyone, I'm trying to find any students out there who are currently enrolled or that have attendedd Cal State Los Angeles or Azusa Pacific. Anyone currently attending or a graduate of? I would love to talk to a student or graduate, or even someone who did their Master's at either school! I got into one and am interviewing for the other, and I would really REALLY love to hear opinions on either school, RN, BSN, or MSN, since I have not been able to find any contacts as of yet. Thank you so much!!

My son attends Azusa Pacific and loves it - although he is not a nursing student. Are you interested in strictly the nursing program there or just an overall sense of the campus and community?

Both! Either! I haven't heard much of anythng up until now... how does he like the campus/community feel?
I just spoke with my son - he said he likes Azusa because it is a small enough that you know alot of people but not too small that you know EVERYONE. His best friends attend Master's in Santa Clarita and it feels more like a camp and he didn't like that but loved the diversity at Azusa. The campus is nice too - not overbearingly huge. You ride trolleys from one part of the campus to the other. The nursing program just got a doctorate degree program too and the whole program is very well respected.
You can take a virtual tour at http://www.apu@edu . . . click on campus virtual tour.
Take a trip to So. Cal and check them both out - get a feel for the campuses by walking around and maybe attending a class or two.

My sister in law attended APU for both her BA and Master's and she loved it (very expensive education). I grew up in the city just east of Azusa (Glendora) and both my mother and father in-law grew up in Azusa. It's a neat, small suburb of LA......................
God I miss So Cal!!!!

Thank you both... I did take a look at both campuses, and they are vastly different. Even their location and surroundings vary greatly. I'm not very sure about the nursing programs themselves, hopefully I'll be able to get some info on that as well. I actually know the Covina area well, which isn't too far off from APU. Seems people tend to be pleased with APU!
