CSULA ABSN Summer 2020

Hi everyone! Applications open in November (and due in January) but thought I’d open up a forum now so we can share and keep each other updated!

This forum is for the CSULA’s Accelerated BSN program that’ll begin Summer 2020!

Anyone re-applying? This will be my first time applying! I have one more science pre-req + stats + TEAS left to go!

Also received an acceptance! I got an unknown call earlier today with no voicemail (unfortunately had not picked up...), but I also received an email to explain everything.

Now I am so nervous. I did not hear back and think that everyone who was accepted already got a call...

It looks like two applicants have confirmed acceptance, so we can’t know for sure who else has/hasn’t already received the call, or if all accepted students have heard back by now. There’s still time, but I definitely feel that anxiety! ?

I also got accepted! For those of you who didn’t get in this time around— keep trying! If you truly want to be a nurse, don’t let anything stop you! CONGRATS to all those that got in! Can’t wait to meet you all ☺️

I also received a call this week and was accepted!! ?

To anyone on the forum who was not accepted this year, I understand how discouraging it can feel, but do not give up! I applied to many programs because I knew how competitive each one is. I was denied acceptance to another program before this one, but it turned out okay because I was lucky enough to get into my first choice. I wish you all the best of luck in your nursing careers!

Big CONGRATS to all the people who got acceptances! ?

Just wondering, did any of you who got accepted have a set date/time that you had to respond by? I was offered a spot on the waitlist and had to accept the invitation before today so I'm just trying to figure out a general timeline of if/when any additional spots might open up.

And for anyone else out there who's also been waitlisted, stay strong! We're in this waiting game together. ?
